Dual Rated:

UL Approved:
Means that UL has tested representative samples of your product and determined that they meet UL's requirements. These requirements are based primarily on UL's published and nationally recognized Standards for Safety.
 

CSA Approved:
Candaian Standards Association. They perform testing similar to the UL (a bit more stringent).
 

AWG:
American Wire Gauge. Pronounced as "Aught". It is a standard used for denoting wire conductor diameter. The system is counter-intuitive, so the lower the AWG, the thicker the conductor.
 

Lug:
Electrical connector is a bolt on an enclosure tied to an electric potential within the enclosure, supporting the connection of a cable.
